Our general surgeon is highly trained in the most modern and minimally invasive procedures available today such as laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery. The goal is to choose the least invasive treatment option that is appropriate for a particular diagnosis. This approach can shorten recovery times and lead to less post-surgical complications.
Equally as important, he is also trained to recognize when these newer procedures, such as robotic surgery, are appropriate and when a more conventional approach will better serve the patient, and he will always recommend a treatment plan that will be most beneficial.
